A 'complete' Fire Protection System is composed of four primary components

PREVENTION – Items such as Hood Systems, Backflow Devices, and other systems provide the first line of defense in Fire Protection--preventing a fire from occuring in the first place

DETECTION – Should a fire occur, a detection system such as a Fire Alarm System will notify occupants and fire officials so that the fire can be safely evacuated and eliminated quickly

SUPPRESSION – Many times, waiting for the fire department is not an option. On site suppression systems such as Fire Sprinkler Systems, FM-200 Systems, suppression equipped Hood Systems and Fire Extinguishers help that happen so you can recover quickly with minimal loss

INSPECTION – Like any mechanical device, a Fire Protection System needs Inspections to insure its effectiveness, and maybe even Service to keep it up to date and running efficiently
